Cruise ship passengers overnight in city
The 5-star cruise ship Star Pride, carrying 150 passengers from the UK, the USA and Canada, berthed at the Tien Sa Port on Sunday. This is the 5th time that this ship has visited the city during the 2014-2015 cruise ship season. The ship stayed overnight in the port, allowing its passengers to spend more time shopping and visiting local attractions or taking tours to Hoi An and Hue cities.
On a cruise arranged by the Destination-Asia tourism company, the ship had set sail from Singapore and previously visited Ho Chi Minh City, Quy Nhon and Nha Trang. It will leave Da Nang for Hai Phong at 5.00pm today (9 February). On 19 February (the 1st day of the 1st lunar month), the ship will again return to the city for an overnight stay.
